This 1-year clinical fellowship is primarily based at The Waddell Center for Multiple Sclerosis at the University of Cincinnati. This multi-disciplinary Center is a member of the Consortium of Multiple Sclerosis Centers. The clinic team includes a nurse practitioner, licensed social worker, registered dietitian, nurse and research coordinators. Sub-specialty teaching divisions include Neuro-ophthalmology, Urology, Rheumatology and PM&R. Fellows will rotate at affiliated hospitals and institutions including UC Health Dayton and West Chester Hospital.

The fellow will obtain a complete history and perform a complete neurological examination on new and return patients, including patients with confirmed or suspected central demyelinating diseases, MS, NMO, transverse myelitis, optic neuritis, or ADEM. The fellow will participate in lectures, case conferences, and journal clubs and will be involved in support groups and patient education series. They will participate in research and are expected to complete at least 1 research project during fellowship. Learn more here
