The Neuroimmunology Fellowship combines training in clinical care and research in the fields of multiple sclerosis and related demyelinated and auto-immune diseases, neurological complications of HIV, and infectious diseases of the nervous system. This one-two-year fellowship provides complete exposure to the clinical management of MS patients, other complex demyelinating disorders and neuro infectious diseases. Fellows also gain familiarity with clinical trials and methodology in MS. They participate in clinical, translational and basic science research projects. They learn how to prepare IRB protocols and how to design and conduct clinical research studies. Applicants matriculated into the fellowship must possess one of the following qualifications: PGY3-4 Neurology residents, Board-eligible or certified neurologists in the U.S. or foreign-trained neurologists with a valid Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates certificate.
